Kintore Golf Club, situated in the Royal Burgh of Kintore, was formed in 1911, since which time the total membership has grown to around 700.

Founded in 1906, Elgin Golf Club is a testing heathland course measuring 6449 yards, with par of 69, and a standard scratch of 71, fully justifying its claim to be one of the finest inland courses inthe northern part of Scotland.
