Our self-catering 2 bedroom luxury log cabin holiday is an ideal way to enjoy the unspoilt Lincolnshire countryside in style. The Wren Lodge is a secluded log cabin set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, surrounded by 80 acres of mature woodlands on the 320 acre Kenwick Park Estate. It offers something for everyone with the spectacular Championship standard, 18 hole, par 72 golf course, driving range and pro shop.
The excellent course offering a challenge to all levels of golfer with its mixture of links and parkland holes set in two loops it is a par 71, 6214 yard golfers paradise. I'm writing following our society day on Saturday. I have organised over 90 Society events over the past 12 years and nothing has come close to the quality of day we had last Saturday. The course was in great lush condition, the bar area had a great atmosphere and as for the food package, it was truly awesome!

Building development to improve the facilities of the Clubhouse began in 1968 and later during four years between 1989 and 1993 a major transformation of the original red brick and pantiled farm buildings was undertaken together with the construction of a number of architecturally sympathetic additions. Market Rasen is within easy reach of the City of Lincoln approx.
The members bought out Ted in 1998 when he wanted to retire and since then many developments have taken place and is continuing to do so at quite a pace. Course changes have occurred most years since the take over culminating in impressive enhancements to holes twelve, thirteen and fourteen and an increase in length to 6556 yards. New fairway bunkers have been added to the first and fourth with a superb new raised competition tee on the fourth.
I have been a golf professional now for over 30 years, during which I have seen the approach to teaching the golf swing change beyond recognition. It is only in the last few years with the advent of sophisticated launch monitors that we have discovered that the ball flight laws indoctrinated into every golf professional are in fact completely flawed. Indeed many golf pros now refer to these old laws as the ball flight flaws.
Located just outside the beautiful and historic city of Lincoln, Canwick Park boasts a superb 18-hole parkland course that suits players of all ages and standards.
