About the Business
Established in 1922, Astbury is a picturesque yet testing parkland course situated amongst the beautiful South Cheshire countryside. The easy to walk course comprises sweeping tree lined fairways, and, internally, runs alongside the historic Macclesfield canal. In the last 12 months we have invested heavily in producing the course in its best possible condition and everyone who plays the course has been delighted in the results.
Beyond the course, Astbury prides itself on an inclusive, friendly atmosphere, and warmly welcomes new members, visitors and societies. A busy competition and social calendar ensures members get the most out of their Club.
The signature hole for the golf course is the 12th, with the fairway shown to the left side of the picture above, which is a strong par 5 requiring a long carry over a ravine from the tee. It is closely rivalled by the 3rd which is a par 5 in the opposite direction.
