Situated in picturesque Belfairs Woods, Belfairs is an 18 hole municipal parkland course offering a good test of golf with fairways that range from the wide and undulating to narrow and tree lined. It is particularly renowned for the quality of its greens.
The green-keeping staff have made significant improvements to the fairways and removed the rough resulting in the course being presented in superb condition. With new drainage installed throughout, the number of days lost due to wet weather will be greatly reduced and only the most adverse conditions will now cause the course to close. Although Belfairs Golf Club has no jurisdiction over the course, it does have block-booking tee times on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings to ensure everyone gets a game.
