Fleetlands Golf Club

Perhaps not the longest course in the district, measuring little over 4800 yards from the tee on the first hole to the pin on the eighteenth, the course at Fleetlands Golf Club should not be underestimated as a result. It is laid out on undulating parkland, that is particularly severe in places, so accuracy from the pin, as well as good knowledge of you irons, is at an absolute premium here. It is also in a convenient and easy to reach location, situated as it is just three miles out of the town centre. It first opened its doors to golfers in 1963 and has built up a steady and committed membership since then.
