Located amidst the beautiful Surrey countryside, Bowenhurst golf club offers a picturesque nine-hole, parkland golf course, which is ideally suited to beginners and more experienced golfers alike. Theclub benefits from facilities including a 24 bay floodlit driving range, two practice putting greens, a practice bunker and a well-stocked club shop. The narrow fairways and, in particular, the cleverly positioned hazards require thought and accuracy from the tee.
The Cowdray Estate, Cowdray Park, is set in beautiful rural West Sussex, centred around Easebourne, Midhurst. In the heart of the South Downs National Park, Viscount Cowdray Estate offers luxury selfcatering Holiday Cottages, Leisure and Corporate Clay Pigeon Shooting, Cowdray Park Polo Club, Cowdray Park Golf Club and the ruined tudor mansion of Cowdray.
The club itself has no records of those formative days, while The Golfing Annual - the sport's 'bible' of the time - gives conflicting dates. It was stated that many members of the Golf Club were alsomembers of the Cricket Club, and therefore could not be refused the right of using the pavilion. This fact, the Chairman suggested, should tend to reduce the charge to the Golf Club. The golf club's offer of three guineas to use the cricket club's facilities was duly accepted. So there you have it.
Hankley Common Golf Club was first opened for play over nine holes in 1897 (see history). In 1922 James Braid advised on the addition of a further nine holes. Bobby Locke described the course as theclosest resemblance to a seaside links and the famous course architect, Charles Lawrie, once described the course as "one of the best inland layouts in Britain".
Worldham is a parkland course set within beautiful countryside on the edge of the South Downs National Park. The course is 18 holes with undulating greens and mature woodland to navigate. We are a small group of avid golfers who formed a company to take over the lease on an unloved and uncared for property in the Spring of 2011. Over this period we have made a number of significantchanges and upgrades to both the golf course and the public facilities. To date all the improvements and updates have been met with numerous positive comments and great enthusiam by those who use our facilities.

As our name suggests, our club has military origins although for many years we have had a mainly civilian membership. Today our club is enjoyed by members, visitors and societies from all walks ofcivilian and military life.
