Established in 1901 and designed by Willie Park Jnr., Huntercombe is one of the finest inland courses in England. Huntercombe was the only course owned by Willie Park Jnr. Originally a heathlandcourse, the fairways are now mostly bounded by mature trees and carefully managed woodland, with bluebells an added peril in the Spring. Otherwise, the course has not much changed over the last century and Willie Park Jnr. would today have little difficulty in recognising his creation.

We've been around over 100 years and so our 80 acres of parkland, just three miles from Oxford city centre, is wonderfully mature and makes for a beautiful test of golf. At Hinksey Heights you will find an 18 hole Championship Course and The Spires Course (9 hole course). Hinksey Heights is open to all. You don't need to be a member to play. There are a variety ofholes which reward the thinking golfer. The Spires Golf Course, opened by Sir Bobby Robson in July 2006, can be played as 9 or 18 holes. This course is ideal for the novice golfer, or those with limited time to spare as the whole course can be played in under 2 hours.

We are located just 1 mile west from Oxford City Centre on Binsey Lane, just off the Botley Road close to PC World. We are easily accessible from the Oxford Ring Road and the A34 and are close to thetowns of Abingdon, Witney, Bicester, Banbury, Didcot, Burford, Wantage, Faringdon, Woodstock, Kidlington & Chipping Norton. We are also only 5 minutes walk from Oxford Train Station so can be reached from Reading in 21 minutes and London Paddington in just 53 minutes.

Hazlemere Golf Club is a modern forward looking members' club that welcomes visitors and has a well deserved reputation for being 'The Friendly Club'. In addition to the Men's and Ladies' Sectionsthere are three other very active Sections - Veterans', Lady Veterans' and Junior Sections. We also run a number of Mixed Fun Competitions throughout the year and these are great social events.

This 36 hole ‘pay and play' golf complex comprises of three totally different challenges for both newcomers and also established players. The course has very good natural drainage and we arevery rarely closed due to to adverse weather conditons. We have a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere, there is no need to book tee times and dress codes do not apply.
