We welcome beginners and novice players and afford them the same courtesy as our more proficient players. Special reduced rates are also available for juniors and senior citizens. Golf societies and'Golf days' can be arranged, including fun and fantastic value corporate and business days from as little as £12 per person.
Our course was opened for play in 1936 and has steadily evolved to present a first class parkland layout that offers a challenging yet rewarding test of golf in beautiful natural surroundings. We areparticularly noted for our tree lined fairways, high quality greens and an interesting challenge on each hole. To match the course, our comfortable and friendly clubhouse offers excellent catering and bar facilities. The Club remains popular with our many visitors who return year after year.
At Hinksey Heights you will find an 18 hole Championship Course and The Spires Course (9 hole course). Hinksey Heights is open to all. You don't need to be a member to play. There are a variety ofholes which reward the thinking golfer. The Spires Golf Course, opened by Sir Bobby Robson in July 2006, can be played as 9 or 18 holes. This course is ideal for the novice golfer, or those with limited time to spare as the whole course can be played in under 2 hours.
