About the Business

Belvoir Park Golf Club was established in South Belfast during 1927, set in some 136 acres of delightful parkland and was designed by the famed course architect Harry S Colt. Ever since it has sought to provide a warm and friendly club environment for men's, ladies', senior and junior golf over the past 86 years.

Belvoir Park Golf Club remains one of the pre-eminent parkland courses in Ireland, hosting the Ulster Professional in 1930, won by Joe McCartney, the Irish Open in 1949 and 1953 with the winner Harry Bradshaw claiming afterwards that "it was the best inland course I have ever played".

The course also hosted the Irish PGA Championship in 1995 and most recently the Irish Amateur Close Championship in 2008. It was a privilege to have been invited to host the Senior Ladies' British Open Amateur Championship in 2011 and World Police and Fire Games in 2013.
