About the Business
Knotty Hill Golf Centre is located in the rural village of Sedgefield, County Durham. We're practically on your doorstep, only a stones throw from the A1(M) and A19, in touching distance of Durham, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Sunderland and Newcastle. Created in the mid-90's by it's owner Denis Craggs and course architect Chris Stanton, the Craggs family work tirelessly on a daily basis to develop the Golf Centre. The steady progress has led to Knotty Hill being one of the premier golf attractions in the North East of England.
Although we offer a great value membership, we are open to every member of the public, everyone is welcome. All courses are situated in beautiful parkland, with strategically placed water hazards and bunkers, tree lined fairways and incredible greens making Knotty Hill a rewarding and enjoyable round of golf for all playing standards. Our practice facilities are simply first rate, no one can offer a more complete package.
