Outlane Golf Club celebrated its centenary in 2006. Situated to the north of Huddersfield and close to the M62 (approximately one mile from Junction 23 if travelling east, two miles from Junction 24 if travelling west), it is an 18 hole moorland course of some 6000 yards, renowned for its friendliness.

The last few years have seen major investments in the course and clubhouse. In 2010 we reconstructed the 7th and 8th greens. At the same time, typifying the spirit of the club, a group of members funded and constructed a new clubhouse balcony. During early May 2011 we installed Solar Photovoltaic panels, (from local company & club sponsor Solarlex) allowing us to generate 10% of our own electricity.
