About the Business
Southport Old Links Golf Club, despite not being the biggest or best-known golf course in Southport, is still one of the oldest, with the quality to match its famous neighbours. Golf was first played here in 1892, before many of the larger / more famous clubs had their first monthly medal or cut the fairways with their horse-drawn mowers for the first time. The present Club was formed in 1926 when a Limited Liability Company was floated to take over the assets of the former Club. Southport Old Links Limited was wound up and de-registered as a company in May 1997. Now it is a member owned Club.
We are a fairly small yet extremely friendly Club and are very welcoming to both Members and Visitors. Please contact us if you want to challenge the Course and enjoy its quality. We look forward to welcoming you for a round soon.
