The Vale of Llangollen Golf Club was formed back in 1908 by some of the local gentry and has been extended and improved ever since. It is a members club whose aim is to provide affordable golf of thehighest standard to its members and customers. The quality of the course has led to it being a favourite venue for golfers right across the UK and even further afield, but in particular from the cities of the North West and West Midlands.
The course boasts a unique claim to fame in that you can play one round of golf in two separate countries, courtesy of Offa's Dyke running through our course. On the 4th hole you tee off in Wales andputt out in England. The 5th and 6th hole remain in England before you are cordially welcomed back into Wales on the 7th tee.
The club provides a warm and friendly atmosphere, the dining room/lounge area has a capacity for 120 persons and the bar area 50 persons. Applications are invited for a Caterer who will trade on aself-employed basis and who must have experience of Golf Club Catering or similar, together with the ambition and the ability to deliver an excellent dining experience for members and visitors via typical menu items served within a Golf Club environment.
The Brow Golf Club at Welsh Frankton sits alongside the A495 from Ellesmere to Oswestry. Opened in 1995 by founder the late Alf Strange, author, blacksmith and golfer, The Brow is a picturesque 9 holegolf course set in the rolling countryside in North Shropshire, close to the Welsh Border.
Mold Golf Club prides itself on making new members welcome and its relatively novel competition draw system, enables them to feel part of the club in a short space of time. As you play thisfascinating course, you soon understand why Mold has a hard-won reputation for well-conditioned tees, greens and fairways. From the higher part of the course, some 850 feet above sea level, a colourful panorama opens out.
Hawarden Golf Club is located in the middle of Hawarden village in Flintshire, North Wales. As part of the Gladstone estate, the club has an important position within the local community. Situatedjust outside Hawarden village, the club is well hidden from the unknowing visitor to the village but well known by the local people.
Golf was originally played at the current site of Old Padeswood Golf Club over 100 years ago. The current club was established in 1977 and increased to 18 holes in 1985. The course benefits from beingin a tranquil area with an abundance of wildlife, many varieties of birds of prey can be seen flying over the rolling and open parkland course.

If you fail to make a hole in one, you are compensated by stunning views over the Vale of Clwyd.
