
Our challenging par 72 course was designed by James Braid in 1905 so we are now well into our second century as a thriving members' club situated in the heart of historic St Albans, known asVerulamium in Roman times. We take great pride in the condition of our course and the pace and subtlety of our greens. The course is fast-draining and is rarely closed, even in winter, so you can be assured of a challenging but fair test at any time of the year.

Potters Bar was established in 1923 and was the home golf club of Tony Jacklin, winner of the British and US Open, and former Captain of the Ryder Cup team. Situated just off the M25, Potters Bar Golf Club is within easy reach of London, and for visitors from outside England.

The Club has two well established golf courses set in beautiful parkland and only 15 miles from the centre of London. The best time to visit is in Spring and in Autumn when the many different speciesof trees are either in blossom, or the leaves are turning. The Berry Grove 9 hole Course consists of par 3's and par 4's but don't be misled into thinking it is easy - it is not. This is a great course for beginners.

Welwyn Garden City Golf Club was founded in 1923 and is the home Club of Sir Nick Faldo and Walker Cup player, Tom Lewis, who turned professional in 2011 and secured his European Tour Card by winningthe 2011 Portugal Masters in only his third professional tournament. The Club has the reputation for consistently providing members and guests with one of the best courses in Hertfordshire.
