Swinton park provides more than just 18 holes of challenging golf. Members and vistors are welcome to relax in the comfort of our modern Clubhouse which offers great views of the 18th green, alongwith a refreshing range of drinks and bar meals. The clubhouse also boasts its own restaurant, The Claremont, a weekend dining experience not to be missed. The adjoining function room caters for all manner of events and is available to hire to members and non-members alike.
Founded in 1894 and designed by the legendary James Braid, Worsley Golf Club is located just six miles west of Manchester amongst some of the most beautiful and scenic parkland in the region. Thecourse is characterised by gently rolling fairways lined with an attractive blend of mature trees. Our team of professional green keepers take immense pride in ensuring the course is always presented in immaculate condition.
Chorlton-cum-Hardy's Head professional James Curtis brings with him a wealth of experience within his profession. James spent 10 years as head professional at Northenden golf club then latterly workedwith some of the worlds leading coaches in Orlando Florida.
Sale Golf Club, founded in 1913, is a well established parkland course with a standard scratch of 70. The Clubhouse, the lodge of Sale Old Hall Circa 1830, is steeped in tradition and has awell-earned reputation for good food and hospitality. Famous for our 'Open Champion', Richard Burton, who was the last 'Club Professional' to win the Open Championship, we have been home to many great golfers including Joanne Morley, who played on the Ladies professional circuit.

Whitefield Golf Club is known to many golfers as having one of the best courses in the North West of England. Established in 1932 and kept in magnificent condition, the undulating parkland course isnoted for its spectacular par threes, a test for every level of player. There are weekly competitions and mid-week informal roll-ups. This spring it is opening its doors to novices and competent players alike, with a 3 month trial membership offer (May, June and July) for just £199.
Designed to challenge and stimulate golfers of all abilities, Blackley's re-designed 18 hole, mature parkland course is one of the best in the area and situated only 2 minutes from Junction 18, M60,Manchester, has easy access to motorway networks. With our reputation as 'the friendly club' we warmly invite golfers of all ages and abilities to join our strong community of golfers who take to the course each week throughout the year to play in a variety of club and league competitions.
The fire that destroyed our clubhouse is now in the past and we look to the future with exciting proposals for a new clubhouse. Our architects have drawn up the plans and our new home will be in placein time for the 2016 season. Full details and drawings can be found on our dedicated page. In the meantime the course is fully open.
The par 71 rolling parkland course at North Manchester Golf Club has been entertaining the golfing fraternity of the North west ever since 1925, offering spectacular views over the city and providinga challenge to all who play it. Ideally situated at the heart of the North of England motorway system at junction 19 of the M60, it attracts visiting golfers and societies from all the surrounding counties.
Our subscription year runs from 1st April to 31st March. New members are welcome to join at any time and pay pro rata for the remainder of that year. New members joining in January, February or Marchand paying in full in advance are granted membership immediately thereby gaining a maximum of three free months and benefiting from the previous yearly subscription rate. Members joining to start 1st April may pay either at once, in two instalments, or in 8 monthly instalments.
