Clitheroe Golf Club was formed in November 1891 and moved to its present site in 1932. The generosity of the Southworth family made possible the erection of a fine clubhouse building, as well as theestablishment of a full 18 hole course rather than the 9 holes originally planned. Other facilities include a halfway house behind the 9th green and the Southworth room, a modern conference and meeting room overlooking the course.

Situated just 20 minutes from Manchester city centre, this beautiful full size, 9 hole pay and play course and driving range has no membership and no tee-off times, just turn up, pay and play! Closeto Bramhall village centre, at the end of the A555 Manchester Airport link road, it is easily accessible by car and just 10 minutes on foot from Bramhall railway station. Dress code is very relaxed, we allow jeans and most shoes but no working boots or high heels!
Staining Lodge is a pay and play course that offers memberships and golf contracts whilst remaining accessible to all types of golfers from beginners and weekend golfers to regular players withhandicaps and a competitive streak. The course has excellent drainage and rarely closes due to inclement weather, has generous fairways to aid the less advanced golfer and four par 5′s to test the more experienced golfer.
We are situated on the beautiful Fylde Coast in the lovely resort of Lytham in the North West of England. We are part of England's famous "Golf Coast" which has 20 of the most acclaimed golf coursesin the country. Our club, founded in 1913, is an easy walking pleasant 'Parkland Course' with no strenuous hills, although buggies and pull trolleys are available for hire if needed.

Encourage your wives, partners, girlfriends, daughter, niece or friends to come along and join in these hour long group coaching sessions at just £3 per head. No equipment required. Dress codeis somewhat relaxed in that trainers can be worn, but no denim please. These group sessions are normally held on a Monday evening and will resume as soon as we have enough interest.

Whitefield Golf Club is known to many golfers as having one of the best courses in the North West of England. Established in 1932 and kept in magnificent condition, the undulating parkland course isnoted for its spectacular par threes, a test for every level of player. There are weekly competitions and mid-week informal roll-ups. This spring it is opening its doors to novices and competent players alike, with a 3 month trial membership offer (May, June and July) for just £199.
Hesketh is the oldest golf club in Southport, established in 1885. The course is pre-dominantly links in nature and Championship golf has been played at Hesketh from the early days. In addition tobeing a previous qualifying venue when The Open was played at nearby Royal Birkdale, Hesketh has hosted many other professional and amateur championships. Most recently, it hosted the Junior Open in 2008 and co-hosted the Amateur Championship with near-by Hillside in 2011.

For many, Morecambe is one of Alister Mackenzie's masterpieces and whilst there are no par fives there are sufficient long par fours to test the very best of golfers.

The club is located 6 miles east of Manchester city centre and is easily reachable from all parts of the North West via the M60, M62 and M67 motorways.
Carlisle Golf Club (founded 1908) is less than ½ a mile from M6 J43. It is situated amongst mature trees in gently undulating parkland and is one of the most attractive courses in northernEngland providing a test for any golfer. The R & A brought Regional Qualifying to Carlisle on 6 occasions commencing 1996, the first Club in Cumbria to be so honoured. The English Golf Union (EGU) also rate the Club highly and brought the English seniors Championship to Carlisle in 2010.
Founded in 1909 the golf course and clubhouse is located on the south side of Oldham, Greater Manchester in a conservation area known as the Garden Suburb. This once semi-moorland course has beenmodified over the last 100 years and now boasts several tree lined fairways and many added bunkers. The course is set in 62 acres of land which probably makes It one of the smallest 18 hole courses in acreage in the North West.

Sherdley Park Golf Club is a private club, that plays its golf at Sherdley Park Municipal Golf Course in St Helens. The club exists to provide organised competitive golf throughout the year on one ofthe best courses in the North West. Members choose to play the main weekly competition on Friday, Saturday or Sunday morning. All members are eligible to enter all of the competitions, regardless of handicap.
