Broomieknowe Golf Club was formed in 1905 and the original eighteen hole course was laid out by Ben Sayers of North Berwick. Broomieknowe Golf Club welcomes visitors of all ages, experience orability, whether it is individual visitors or visiting societies. Our aim is to provide a first class golfing experience to all.

Newbattle Golf Club boasts a Harry Colt designed parkland course, with its mature 18 holes, tree lined fairways, strategically placed bunkers and quite exceptional quality greens which are renowned throughout the Lothians.
Biggar Golf club was on established on 13th June, 1895. At that time the golf course was "laid out" on high ground about a mile from the station (Caledonian Railway). Visitors in those days paid oneshilling per day, two and six per week or ten shillings for three months. The course was known as "Langlees", the home of Lord and Lady Clydesmuir. In 1901 a new course was laid out at Heavyside, to the South East of the town.

Aswell as a fantastic par 70 course, it is home to Scotland's national fitting centre, it has an outstanding academy, superb facilities for corporate events and parties, a special mini-course for kids, and a beautifully modernised cottage where visitors can stay just yards from the first tee.
The Clubhouse has a superb location, looking down the first fairway and a great view coming up the eighteenth. The clubhouse has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and is open 7 days a week. Thefacilities include a dining area and two well-stocked bars, ample parking for members and guests. There are also ladies, gents and visiting changing rooms with secure lockers and good showers.
