Founded in 1894 and designed by the legendary James Braid, Worsley Golf Club is located just six miles west of Manchester amongst some of the most beautiful and scenic parkland in the region. Thecourse is characterised by gently rolling fairways lined with an attractive blend of mature trees. Our team of professional green keepers take immense pride in ensuring the course is always presented in immaculate condition.
Swinton park provides more than just 18 holes of challenging golf. Members and vistors are welcome to relax in the comfort of our modern Clubhouse which offers great views of the 18th green, alongwith a refreshing range of drinks and bar meals. The clubhouse also boasts its own restaurant, The Claremont, a weekend dining experience not to be missed. The adjoining function room caters for all manner of events and is available to hire to members and non-members alike.
Established in 1913, Ellesmere Golf Club is situated adjacent to the A580, East Lancashire Road, prior to the eastbound junction of the M60, and only 10 minutes from Manchester City Centre. The golfclub provides some of the most interesting holes, surrounded by mature trees, in the Manchester area. The golf course is always carefully manicured and very well presented all year round. This beautiful parkland course measures 6287 yards and is a testing par 70.
Established in 1990 the Manor Golf Club has been providing golf successfully to the local area now for a number of years. Easy access from the M60 and the M61 from Manchester, Bolton, Prestwich,Worsley, Horwich etc means that we are not far away. Popular with both members and more casual Pay & Play golfers the course presents a challenge to golfers at any skill level. Competitions are a regular attraction.
Whitefield Golf Club is known to many golfers as having one of the best courses in the North West of England. Established in 1932 and kept in magnificent condition, the undulating parkland course isnoted for its spectacular par threes, a test for every level of player. There are weekly competitions and mid-week informal roll-ups. This spring it is opening its doors to novices and competent players alike, with a 3 month trial membership offer (May, June and July) for just £199.
Our subscription year runs from 1st April to 31st March. New members are welcome to join at any time and pay pro rata for the remainder of that year. New members joining in January, February or Marchand paying in full in advance are granted membership immediately thereby gaining a maximum of three free months and benefiting from the previous yearly subscription rate. Members joining to start 1st April may pay either at once, in two instalments, or in 8 monthly instalments.

Sale Golf Club, founded in 1913, is a well established parkland course with a standard scratch of 70. The Clubhouse, the lodge of Sale Old Hall Circa 1830, is steeped in tradition and has awell-earned reputation for good food and hospitality. Famous for our 'Open Champion', Richard Burton, who was the last 'Club Professional' to win the Open Championship, we have been home to many great golfers including Joanne Morley, who played on the Ladies professional circuit.
