About the Business

The members of Royal Epping Forest Golf Club are delighted to have your company at their web site and feel sure you will find the course both interesting and challenging as well as picturesque. The course, being on forest land, is a public one. It is laid out over the old hunting grounds of King Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I; where the infamous highwayman Dick Turpin roamed in the 1730's and where golf was first played in Essex on an officially recognised course in 1888.

The club has a close and friendly relationship with the City of London Corporation which administers the course. There is plenty to read and discover about our club on the site. Competition fixtures and results, match reports as well as up-coming social events can be found via the Latest News tab. You can also navigate through the site by clicking on the various sections above.
