About the Business

Golf runs deep in my family. My father was an avid golfer and my first experience golfing was playing with him at Muirfield. I've been hooked ever since. My father's love of golf was inspired by his uncle, Tommy Armour, who was also known as The Silver Scot. Uncle Tommy won the US Open in 1927, the PGA Championship in 1930 and the Open Championship in 1931.

For some, coming to Scotland and Ireland for a golf vacation is the trip of a lifetime and for others it becomes an annual event. It brings the wealthy and the not so wealthy, both men and women and all age groups. They all come to sample what is a unique golfing experience. With that in mind we have made The Links Club more about the specific needs of each individual group by creating bespoke golf tours. We organize what you want and use our knowledge of country and heritage to visit places that will enhance your golf tours in Scotland and Ireland.

Even though golf is my business, it's also one of my favourite ways to spend my down-time.
