These were all Shopkeepers who played their golf on a Wednesday and who then went onto use the Conservative Club in Heath Road for their Competition Room. Eventually, the Allerton Manor Club House was formed by using the Old Stables, which initially had no ceiling, but after a floor had been put on the first level the building became more familiar as we know it.
